April 15th 2000, Stockport, The best away game I will ever forget!
It was Neil 'Goochy' Gooch's first trip on the 7:42 and it was one he will not live down for a long time. Although they did not know it, the outing was sponsored by Bookers Cash and Carry with over 160 cans accompanying us on the journey. Unfortuantely Neil's guests were tea drinkers and consumed around a dozen cans between 10 of them! This left the original 7:42 Blues with a difficult challenge, but we tried our best and by the time we pulled in to Stockport we were Beerless! As the photo's show the rest of the day was a bit of a blur!

On Board The 7:42
Beers at the ready on the 7:42 when we notice Tom has a small hole in his jumper!

Oh How We Laughed!
Tom turned his back on the camera incase they caught the hole in the front of the jumper on film!

The merriment continues- even more so when we find our pal Kempy. |
The Beer Starts To Take Effect
Glenn's mind was on other things.... 'will mum put a hot water
bottle in my bed or will putting my pyjamas on the radiator be enough?'

While Kempy, king of the working mens clubs, wonders where to stick his cue first the senior members of the 7:42 Blues treat us to a side show.

What's The Score Dad?
'Score? Which way's the pitch son?'

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Neil wasn't the only one asleep although he was the only one laying on the terrace! A few members of the crew were unsure of the team and Big Phil didn't even know the game had started! So what
was Neil dreaming.....'I wonder what it's like in Stoke?'
